They recommend that you give your child a bottle by the time they are 6 weeks or you might have some issues.  Well.......we had no issues.  Little man took the bottle and then nursed a little more.  Yeah for Grant!!!

 

 As for weight, even with all of the spit up, Grant has almost doubled his birth weight at 7 weeks. 

Let's see:  March 25th born at 6 lbs. 15 oz. 
Then upon dismissal (3/27) from the hospital we were at 6 lbs. 10 oz. 
Then on 3/29, we were still 6 lbs. 10 oz.
On 4/5, a week later, he was 7 lbs. 8 oz.
On 5/10, he weighted in at a whooping 11 lbs. 5 oz!!!
I gather we must be doing something right.
