when Zoe woke up from her nap, we spent the rest of our day outside. Todd cut some tree limbs, I chased Zoe around and Zoe, well she did her own thing.

The Weekend
We had a very nice weekend. We got things done and also had some time to relax. Today

A Special Visit
Joanie came into our lives when Zoe was about 4 months old. Even though she is not with us everyday due to her feeling the need to pursue her education, hehe, She has continued to be an amazing addition to our family. I will never be able to tell Joanie in words how thankful I am for her, but I hope that she knows it. She is an amazing individual and I can see her impact on Zoe everyday!

Birthday Weekend
Well, we've made it to my 29th birthday. I know all of my friends know how old I turned on Friday, but both my sister's were a little unsure and told me I was turning 30. I guess minor details, but I am starting to feel older.....Anyways, thank you so much for all the wonderful birthday wishes from everyone!!! I've had such a wonderful weekend filled with love from so many people. Friday I went to work and got the special privilege of wearing a crown and sash, then my mom came on Friday as well, Saturday we went to Deana Rose to play with the animals, Todd and I went out, and then Sunday, was a morning at the park. It was a fabulous 29th birthday!!
Grocery Store
Last Thursday, Zoe and I accomplished many things before I had to go to work for the day. We went and donated some items to good will, got my car washed, returned some objects to "Babies R Us," and finally made it to the grocery store. It was around 9:45 when we got to the store and I had prepared for the store by getting together a "snack trap," for her. Well I apparently didn't plan well, because at the store, she took down 1/2 an apple and an entire breakfast bar. When we got home and I was unloading the groceries, I caught her getting into the pantry for some more!!!!
Once she was done with the salty chips, she found herself thirsty and went back to the pantry to see what would help her with her thirst.

Oh this child never stops!!!

The last two weeks!
So I haven't blogged in a couple of weeks due to me being pretty tired and just not wanting to when the time presented itself. As most of you know, I was still nursing Zoe till about 4 days ago. We were really only doing it twice a day, but one of those times was around 5 am in the morning and then she'd go back to sleep. I didn't mind this nursing for quite some time because I had to be at work before she'd wake up normally. Now with my new schedule, I decided to get rid of it and just nurse when she got up. Let's just say, it took a lot of convincing for her to adjust to this idea. Once that was under control, I knocked the morning nursing out, and then the night time. She offically isn't nursing anymore. She typically naps from 1230 to 3 and then sleeps at night from 7pm to 7am. Not bad!!! So besides all of that, here is a little catch up:
Going on a Rabbit hunt!! Carter has been going nuts in the back yard chasing squirrels and rabbits, and on this day, he found a rabbit. It was hiding in our garden and Carter smelled it and went running for it. Zoe thought she'd help out and chased after the rabbit as well. It was very cute.

We believe Zoe is cutting another tooth, so I don't know why I'm surprised, but after I offered her a toasted waffle, she asked for a frozen one. She ate the whole thing. I thought it was bizarre, but whatever makes her happy.
This was my last Monday off for a while. We did a quick trip to the park with Miss Hadley and Elizabeth. The girls seem to enjoy themselves and Elizabeth and I got our adult time in. So overall, the trip was a success!!!
