Halloween

I try to be a good mommy, but sometimes things just don't happen, like for instance, getting my daughter a Halloween costume. I went the Friday before Halloween to get her just a little something and they had switched everything in the store to Christmas stuff. Who would have thought???? So I found a cute little outfit and decided it would get the job done and that she could wear it more than once!!!!

A visit from a special friend

My best friend from home, Lauren, came and visited us last Thursday!!! She was on her way to Indianapolis and thought we might enjoy her company, so she spent Thursday night with us and then went on her way. We had lots of fun!!

After taking auntie Lauren to the airport, Zoe and I decided to spend the day together and not do anything but hang out together. What this really means, is that Mommy decided not to multi task and just focus on Zoe. We had a great day just playing and chatting away with one another. She is so much fun!

Crazy Hair

My mom has repeatedly told me we should cut Zoe's hair but I keep saying no. I think it's cute!

I also think it fits her personality!!!

Relaxing in the Cold

Last week was my fall break and my birthday so we decided to make a trip down to Fayetteville so we could do absolutely nothing!!!! and we literally did! It was a great way to spend my 28th birthdayZoe did a great job. The first night it took an extra 20 minutes to get her down, but who wouldn't want to look at all of the new things around. She did fabulous!!!!

More Fun!!!

My middle sister, Jocelyn, was kind enough to send us all of the girls "hand-me-downs." They have been amazing seems how the weather went from kind of cold to being really cold. Thank you Auntie Jocelyn!!! Zoe continues to love her bath time with her daddy. She just plays and laughs throughout the whole thing.She continues to love it so much that while daddy is putting on our lotion and pj's, mommy gets the pleasure of cleaning up the floor!!

Zoe had her 4 month appointment yesterday, so she got 2 shots and 1 oral. She cried through the whole thing. I hated!!! She measured in at:

wt: 12 lbs. 9 ounces (25%) She gained 14 ounces in 3 wks!! She only had to gain 10, so she is still doing really well with just breastfeeding!

Length: 24 1/2 (50%)

Head Cir.: 15 inches (<3%)
Doctor said everything looked great!!

Very Special Day

Today is a very special day for a very special lady. Today 5 years ago, I watched this beautiful baby girl come into this world and now she is a beautiful little girl!!! Happy Birthday Nora!

4 Months

Can you believe it??? Zoe turned 4 months old today. In the last week, she seems to have changed so much. Everything goes in her mouth, she chats up a storm, pretty much got the "two finger" sucking down, and overall, continues to be a beautiful kiddo.

My friend Amy has been helping us out with child care over the last couple of weeks and one day she did it at her house. Well when I got there, she told me that her dog had found a new girlfriend. ZOE!!! he apparently really liked Zoe and was showing her by getting really close to her an then humping the air. I thought it was really funny!!! Who would have thought a dog would be my daughter's first love!!

Play date

Yesterday we had our first official play date. My friend Lindsay from nursing school called me up and asked if we'd join them at this play center. We had a great time!!! Thanks Lindsay!
Sorry there aren't any of the whole crew, but her kiddo ended falling asleep and as you can see, Zoe was ready for a nap as well.

The end of Month 3
