So peaceful

So while Grant took a little snooze, Zoe and I went out side and enjoyed the wonderful weather.
She thought it would be fun to enjoy our snack and do some coloring pages.

Grant really seemed to mind.................!

A present from Grant

We decided that Grant should get Zoe a present upon his arrival. We thought this might ease things over for her. Grant decided that a kitchen would be the right thing!!
She has played some with it, but mostly is interested in her new Princess read out loud books.

A little surprise

Well on Sunday March 25th, I woke up having a couple of contractions. They started around 730 am and were 8 minutes apart, so I tried to stop them by relaxing and drinking a, "shit load" of water. That didn't do anything, so I tried a shower, and once that failed and the contractions were now 2 minutes apart, we decided it might be time to call the doctor. She asked us to go in and be checked, and instead we were admitted and had a baby 2 hours later.
Everything went really well, and really fast!!

The Pool in March?????

Zoe had asked a number of times to go to the pool, and of course our neighborhood pool doesn't open till Memorial Day. So.....I called the Hoffman's and asked if they would come over and play in the backyard. Luckily for Zoe, they said yes, so I put the pool together and the girls had a blast.

The water was freezing so I did add a couple of hot water pots, but I don't think it really made a difference.
