It's a winner

So I had yet another paper to write this weekend which meant Todd was in charge of the Misses. She usually goes down for her morning nap in her pj's and then puts on her outfit for the day after that. Well Todd got her dressed and this is what he put her in!
She is wearing a very fashionable purple fleece top with pink flowers, some pink pants, and some purple Mary Jane socks. I have to say the ensemble was quite a site. I laughed several times throughout the day.

More Family Fun

Sally and her crew decided to camp out at our house this Thanksgiving giving everyone a little more stretching room. It has worked beautifully for all of us. Anyways, this morning, Todd got up and decided to get us a little treat and a first for some. He went to "Lamars!!!!"After everyone caught up on some much needed rest, Jackson decided it might be fun to tell Zoe a story. This is a picture of him telling her the Little Piggy story and doing all the moves, it was so cute. He also wanted to tell Zoe how much he loved her by sharing a little kiss.

Thanksgiving

We spend Thanksgiving with Todd's family here in KC. It is always a wonderful week full of lots of activities. This is just a couple of the pictures taken yesterday of the kids.

Over the last week

Well Zoe is really trying to get her little feet in her mouth, but she isn't quite long enough. Here are a couple little pics of her trying:She also has become very interested in what Todd and I are eating. In this picture, Todd is eating his fruit snacks. Todd is a big fan of fruit snacks!!!We will probably be starting solids soon! I also wanted to show everyone her adorable shoes!! One of my good friends from Fayetteville gave us these and I've just been waiting to put them on her. Look at these pictures and you'll know why.

Alternatives to Dog Food

Carter has been on prednisone since the end of June and he has put on a little weight. We had to go to the Vet a couple of weekends ago and they suggested that Carter be on an alternative diet, GREEN BEANS!!! The vet informed us that they are low calorie but are very filling.

He wouldn't eat them at first so I sprayed them with spray butter and apparently that made them a little better. He started off by licking off all the butter, which really just meant that they ended up all over the floor. After that he ate them.

Updates

Well I feel like a lot has changed over the last week or so....let's see..we have stopped the pacifier unless it's nap or bedtime, she is almost sitting by herself, she is starting to suck her thumb really well, and she is still just a super kiddo. We are starting to get her out of the swaddler at nap time and she is doing fairly well.
I will update some photos this weekend, but this week has been unbelievably crazy for me (two 4 page papers, 2 presentations, and a 6 page paper all do this week) so I will work on those over the next couple of days!!
Oh and my sister, Morgan, had her little one. Frances Elliott Upton was born on November 7th at 6 lbs. 6 ounces. They are all doing beautifully!!!!

New Tub!!!

We decided that Zoe might enjoy having lots of room to kick around during her bath time, so we have moved her down to the down stairs bathroom which is officially hers now!!!

Working on a Saturday

Well fall has officially hit Todd's work schedule, meaning he is spending his weekends outside raking the yard. On saturday he spent almost 5 hours doing one side of our yard while Zoe took a couple naps and I did some good old homework!!!We did take a little break to enjoy daddy's hard work:

5 Months

Well we've made it to 5 months and still love her to pieces!!! On her 5 month birthday, it was beautiful outside so we spent the day outside playing.

5 Months and Laughing!!!

Almost 5 months

I can't believe it, Zoe will be 5 months old tomorrow. I keep looking back at all of her photos and I can't believe how big she has gotten.This is a picture from when she was 2 weeks old. She hardly even took up a couch cushion!
