It's about time

Maine

Zoe and I left for Maine last Wednesday for a almost 2 week vacation in the most wonderful place in the world!! We will be here till the 28th, so if you need us, good luck finding us!
Anyways, my sister Jocelyn has been doing the wonderful pleasure of blogging for her kiddos and has just put up some pictures of Zoe as well. So if you want to follow us till the end of June, I recommend checking out the Cowen blog.

1 Year Appointment

Zoe had her one year appointment yesterday so we got some updated statistics that definitely made the comments of, "oh she's so small" come very true:

Weight: 17.4lbs (4th percentile)
Length: 29 1/2 inches tall (65th percentile)
Head Cir.: 16 3/4 inches (2nd percentile)

So she is definitely very small, but no worries. The doc says since she is such an active kid and she eats a variety of food, she might just be small. She said if she doesn't continue on her own little curve, we will discuss what the next step is.

The Zohan Turns One!!!!!!

Saturday was Zoe's 1st Birthday!!! In order to celebrate the occasion, we invited 30 of her closest friends and family members over to the house for some burgers and cake!! Here are some of the shots

Zoe and Mommy opened all of the presents together! Thanks everyone for all of the great books, clothes and toys!!

To celebrate the end of a perfect weekend, we spent Sunday morning outside swinging in the swing that Todd and Sir put up to celebrate Zoe.

3 Rounds of Sunscreen

Zoe had 3 rounds of sunscreen applied today. First she and I went out and played, then she went to the pool with Joanie and finally, she and I went out and played some more. She had a pretty nice day I would think!!

Memorial Day

We spent our Memorial Day with some of my good friends from Nursing school. These are just a couple of pictures of the kiddos hanging out and one of Zoe's really cute bottom!!! Thanks for a great dinner!!!!

1st Time in the Pool

Todd and I really feel that we absolutely made the right decision when we purchased this house. Everyday we are reminded at how much we love it and how natural this whole process has been. This weekend was yet another reminder. We spent our Sunday morning at the pool. It was Zoe's first time in a pool. She was a little hesitant at first, but then really loved it! The pool is a salt water pool so we don't have to worry about the extra chemicals and how hard they can be on our skin and our eyes. It was so nice!!! I think we might be spending a lot of time here!
