First Day of School

Zoe had her, "first day of school" on Sunday. Well not really, but I thought the outfit looked like the possible first day of school outfit and she loved carrying the messenger bag around.
Hopefully time won't fly by too quickly because I'd love for this day to be way far away!!!

Having fun

My good friend Elizabeth from nursing school came to play with us on Tuesday so we went to the pool. These were just a couple of pictures before hand:

Starting Work

I officially started work today in the PACU at Children's Mercy. I was a little sad to leave my little girl after having everyday with her for the last month in a half. Apparently she wasn't to sad because Joanie said she was full of laughs!!! The other nice thing that came with today is that she took a MILK bottle at nap times so I don't have to pump any more!!! I'm just going to do morning and night time feedings for the next little bit and then we'll see were we go from there.

Pretty in Pink

My mom got this dress for Zoe a while ago and I keep forgetting to take pictures of her in it. I think she loves wearing it because of the fun texture. I thought this was a beautiful picture of her eyes.

Rice Crispy Treats

I had a little panic moment when I realized it was going to continue to rain the whole time all these little people were at my house, so I went into teacher mode. I thought....."what could we do to keep these little people happy and entertained?" We made rice crispy treats and icing and the kids had a great time eating and decorating!!

More Rain

Well it continues to rain pretty much everyday, so Jackson lucked out to have brought his umbrella with him. He did have to borrow some rain boots from Zoe and they just happen to match his attire.

Zoe decided to go about the event in a very fashionable way, diaper and rain boots.

Cooper also enjoyed the boots in a fashionable way much later on in the day. He met the two approaches half way. Shirt on but no shorts!

Mexican Dinner

We had everyone over to our house for a Mexican dinner on Monday evening. We grilled fajitas, made re-fried beans and so much more. It was a wonderful dinner! While Todd slaved away, the kids played really hard. They all played really well together and even included us sometimes. At the end of the evening, everyone was ready to crash!

Oh and if your wondering where Zoe was, fast asleep!!!!!

4th of July

We spent 4th of July with Todd's family here in KC. Sally and her crew made it for the whole day so a lot of these pictures are of her kiddos, but Spencer's crew showed up later in the day, so there are a lot more pictures to come.
This first one is of the misses actually smiling. That was a rare occasion yesterday due to the wonderful fact she was running a fever the whole day. She was hot, her bottom was bright red and she was or is still a little behind on sleep. She did fairly well, but she and I called it an early night to hopefully make up for some needed sleep.

Here she is giving momma a little love!!These are from the morning time: Jackson is really into Mary Poppins right now, so he spent his morning outside with his umbrella. He can pretty much act a lot of the movie out. It's quite entertaining.

Cooper on the other hand spent his time trying to get away from Carter so he could eat his breakfast in peace.

I don't think it ended up being as easy as Cooper had hoped.

After everyone had a little afternoon nap and a short walk, we went to the family barbecue. These are just a couple pictures from the afternoon:
