Easter

So I keep seeing everyone with these beautiful pictures of their kids on Easter and this is all I got!!!  Do keep in mind that I only got 3.5 hours of sleep the night before and I don't think Todd had much more.  Zoe was up from 12 to 230 wondering around my parents house.  At one point, I caught her chatting with Sir about sleeping with them after he finished his snack. She was holding her lovies, had her paci in mouth, and her night light.  His comment was, "Well I didn't know what else to do with her."  At the moment I told her no because I thought their bed was only a full.  Learned the next morning I should have let her go due to their bed being a Queen and there would have been plenty of room.  Oh well.

Snow, AGAIN

The snow this year has been somewhat brutal.  Every time it has snowed, we've gotten at least 8 inches if not more.  This last snow I think we got a foot in less than 24 hours.  Zoe has loved it!  She's been out side playing for hours.  Grant really wants to love it, but has a hard time getting around, so we end up enjoying it from the inside.

 In this pictures, Zoe and Todd started throwing snowballs at the window.  Grant thought it was hilarious. 

I really, really hope that was the last snow storm!!!!!!!

First Birthday

My Baby Boy is officially 1.  I can't believe how quickly this year has gone by.  I know it went fast with Zoe, but this went way faster.  Anyways, we had a get together with family to celebrate his 1st.  Nothing to extravagant, just a small get together with cake.It was perfect!!

 He woke up after everyone got here, so he needed some extra cuddle time before diving in.  He thought to take the edge off, he might start the party off with a beer.

 Nothing beats a bud light at your first birthday!

 Todd's cousins came to play, as well as Zoe and Grant's closest friends.  They all helped with the present opening.

 A little pre-cake snack.  Some cauliflower and cracker.  Then the big moment, which his sister helped with.

 He loved the cake!  He did get some in his eye, but that didn't stop him.

 

Overall, great first birthday!

Walking

Grant officially started walking on 3-20-13.  He has been taking steps here and there, but got willing to try 4 or 5 steps at a time.  As of today, he hardly crawls at all.  The whole thing has been super cute.  We of course have been cheering him on through the whole thing, and he would just laugh and laugh.  Hope you enjoy!
