Dinner with the Obringers

Last Saturday night we had dinner with our friends the Obringers. We traveled all the way out to their house on 160th in the "boon docks!!!" We had an amazing dinner and a really good time. Zoe and the kids played pretty much the whole time. They seem to really enjoy themselves. These pictures are of her riding their scooters. She couldn't do it herself obviously, so Todd and I got the pleasure of scooting her around on it.
This last picture is of all the kids!!
And yes, they do have 4 kids!!!! I don't know how Cat does it, and she looks great too! Super mom!

Purple Ball

Zoe and I went to "Parent's as Teachers," this morning and then headed to Target. She was doing really well so when we past the balls, I thought why not. If you can't tell by the pictures below, it was a success!
It's exciting that a 2 dollar present brings such fun to some one's life.

Fun times

Elizabeth and I have continued to try to get together every Monday so the kids get some time together. It has been a little work here and there since Zoe is 6 months older and capable of doing just a little bit more than Hadley. She has used poor Hadley as her test doll sometimes, but luckily Hadley is starting to retaliate. Yesterday we had a good date. The girls shared their snacks and then the shared some laughs. For Christmas, Zoe received a Disney Princess push bike which Hadley found and asked to be pushed on. We thought it might be fun to see if Zoe could push Hadley. As you can see, it worked.
They went round and round running into the walls having a wonderful time. I think Zoe was pushing her into the walls on purpose because she would crack up every time.
They had a blast!!!!

So...

I caught Zoe sitting in this laundry basket today and noticed she wasn't wearing what I had put her in... She found a pair of her pj's in the clean laundry and put them on.
I think she really likes her pj's!

New PJ's

We did our normal weekend activity of running to Cost-Co to stock up on fruit for the little misses. We also purchased her a new pair of pj's that she insisted on putting on once we got home. She spent the whole day in them and enjoyed every minute of it. First she took a 2.5 hour nap, then she vacuumed the living room, then played "Bye, Bye," with my purse, water bottle and her daddy's keys

and last but not least, she played on daddy's chair. She loves this chair.

She had a fun afternoon!

Overalls

I feel like every child needs to have a pair of overalls. I found these at good old Target and put them on as quickly as I could. She's so cute!!!!

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow

I thought it was only appropriate to start this blog with the face that continues to be an everyday occurrence in our life. She is so "high" on life right now, that she just runs around making the world a brighter place. hehe. Anyways, this was Sunday when we had a "dusting" of snow. I thought she might enjoy it, so I got her suited up and we went out in the cold. She didn't seem to mind it at all, so we spent a nice chunk of our afternoon out there. We swung and then went for a walk around the back yard and then the neighborhood.
So like I mentioned earlier, everything above was Sunday. Now this was on Monday:
I have to say, Zoe wasn't as enthusiastic about this amount of snow. Every time she fell, she couldn't get herself back, so she got mad. Hopefully she'll get use to it!!!
