11 Months

Zoe has continued to explore her new surroundings by checking out every little nook and cranny. These are just a couple pics of her on her 11 month birthday discovering a cabinet that might hold something very fascinating....

Big Play Date

This week one of my good friends from the sorority came into town with her son who is 3 days younger than Zoe. I'm sure you will all recognize her because she's been on my post before, but just in case, this is Shelley and her son Ethan with ZoeZoe and Ethan played really well together. Zoe shared her toys,and even let Aunt Elizabeth hold her!!!Shelley on the other hand took a lot of pleasure out of holding the litter ones. I think someone might have a little itch. hehe
These are the two little ones. Hadley is on the left and on the right is Katelyn. We had such a great time with everyone. Hopefully we'll do it again soon!!!

Where to Start

Well, we officially moved this last weekend and have been slowly finishing the unpacking. Zoe has been really helpful when it comes to unpacking....

She also has been an excellent helper when it comes to unpacking what you've already put away....

Just in case you can't tell, she is removing stuff from the cabinets that I had just finished organizing. These are just a couple of other pics that have been taken over the last week:

Oh let's see, I feel like there is so much to tell everyone. Well as for Zoe, she is walking all over the place and loving it, she has adjusted really well in the new house and she just continues to be an amazing kiddo. As for me, I accepted a job in the PACU at Children's Mercy and am extremely excited about it. It will be an amazing learning experience and I will be able to be home every night to put Zoe down and have dinner with Todd. Todd is doing well at work and is now home pretty much every night at 5:45!!! We are in a great place!!!!

Climber

Zoe has really started moving around. I think we both assume she'll be walking by herself in the next couple of weeks. She's walked a couple of times by herself, but then realizes whats going on and sits down. Her other new talent is climbing. She's climbing into the fridge and...and here on the dishwasher:

Warm Weather

Today we got a nice little text message from our good friends the Gustafson saying, "Park around 3??" It was a nice little message and we jumped on the opportunity. Since we are kind of on our own schedules, she and I are hoping to get together a lot more!! Here is a picture of all three girls sitting with their sunhats on: The deal Lindsay and I made is that I would bring the hats and she would bring the sunblock. I'm convinced that Zoe will not mind wearing a hat after this summer. She does really well now, and I've asked everyone that takes her outside to remember to put a hat on. This is for you Sir:

The last 3 weeks????

Zoe has been a great kiddo. She has been willing to try everything, and so far is really enjoying everything. These are just a couple of pics of her eating a black bean burger and salmon!!

Last weekend was Easter and we spent it in Fayetteville with my family. It was such a great weekend and it meant so much to both of us to have our family all together.

Today it was 80 degrees or so, so Zoe and I spent as much time outside as we could. Daddy did as well, but he was at the Royals game. Anyways, Zoe and I played, we went for a walk, and we just enjoyed the last day of the weekend.

Oh but before we made it outside, we had to do the dishes, and Zoe loves to help!!!

Sorry for the delay in pics, but life at the Weneck house has been really busy and I have to admit a little stressful. We have made it over one big hump in my nursing school career and are about to start a new run.

Small Update

I know I haven't posted in a while, but school literally has been a mad house. I just finished my last official class yesterday, so now I will be focusing on studying for the NCLEX and moving. I promise to post new pictures tomorrow or maybe even tonight.
