Update

Let's see, oldest to youngest:
Todd: celebrated his 32nd birthday on November 25th.  Zoe and I took the plunge and made him a delicious double layer cake. I have to say, it was one of the BEST cakes I've ever had.  The batter was one of William Sonoma's recipes and the frosting recipe came from the Joy of Cooking.  It was a different recipe then I'd ever done, but it was yummy!!!
Me: Not much going on in my life that is new.  Just trying to balance everything.
Zoe: Didn't have much going on till this last week.  She started running a fever on Tuesday and was still up there on Thursday evening, so to the doctor she went.  They have a policy/protocol that they won't treat until it's been 72 hours of fevers.  They checked her out and she had some wheezing but no fever.  They told us to watch her and if she got a fever then she needed an X-ray.  So an hour after getting home, she started climbing up there, so she went and had her first X-ray.  Todd said she did great and he thinks that she is now going to be a doctor.  I wouldn't object to that.
Grant:  So he is 8 months old and I would easily say he weighs 20 lbs. if not more.  He continues to be a great eater and will try almost anything.  He has his first tooth and the 2nd isn't too far behind.  On Thanksgiving, he started army crawling and rolling.  And now he is despirately trying to crawl.  He gets up on all fours and rocks, but can't quite get the next move.  He started pulling him self up 2 nights ago which means we have to drop the crib.  Time with him is just flying.  Overall, he has been an amazing baby and has made the transition from one to two, not too bad.  He still wants to nurse around 4 or 5 every morning, but we will work on that at some point!!  Oh and he has had 2 haircuts already and really needs a 3rd!

Thanks for being patient.

Grant looks so grown up!!! And about a third of the kids in Jamaica Plain have had a fever as well. Some moms have gone to doctors/emergency rooms, but it seems they've all been told it's "just" a virus and sent home. We've had it too. No fun.
