Boy or Girl

On Friday's, I get up at 430 so I can be at work at 6am.  Todd gets the kids ready for the day and is in charge for the day.  When I went up to put the little man to bed, I found that none of his pj's were clean.  So what is a mom to do????  I went into Zoe's bins of clothes and found some really cute pj's. In the morning, I thought it might be funny or just fun to see what he would look like as a girl!!!

I definitely think he makes a cutter boy!!!

This picture is just funny!!  I was on the phone with my mom and kept hearing this little giggle.  I knew the folded laundry was sitting there, but I had no idea what he was doing. 

He was sitting with the basket's slowly taking out the clothes.  He thought it was so funny.

Dark Cave

Zoe has become obsessed with building a, "Dark Cave" out of our couch pillows.  I love this adventure of hers!  She started out simple by just using the pillows and then with a little help from mom and dad....

 She has built a real cave that stands up to a lot of rough play. 

In both caves she has her musts to make it complete, they are:  her lady bug light, Mimi's blanket to curl up with, and her lunch box with multiple tea party items.  She can really entertain herself for a bit, and has done a fabulous job including Grant in the activity.

Celebrating Shabbat

We got the privilege of celebrating Shabbat last night with the candles from Zoe's class.  Mrs. Michele and Miss Jessica have a bag that gets given to one family every Friday.  Everything you need to say the blessings and light the candles is in a bag as well as a really cute book about a dino celebrating with his family.  We really enjoyed it and it was really such a pleasure to see how much Zoe has learned!!

Blessing the Paci

Any time Grant sees my glass of wine, he goes for it.  The other night he had a paci in and before he could spit it out, it was in the wine glass.  

 

After a long day at work, I thought this was hilarious.  

God he's cute!!!

9 Months

We made it to 9 months and the little man whom everyone thinks is sooooooooo BIG, is actually pretty average.  He weighted in at 19 lbs 15 ounces which is only in the 50th percentile.  He loves his food, don't get me wrong, but he's become an incredibly active little guy, so I think he's going to stay the same for a bit.

Overall, Grant is amazing!!!  He was sleeping really well, but over the last 3 weeks, he has had 2 ear infections and I've given in a little.  I can't stand thinking he's uncomfortable so if he wants to nurse in the night, I'm there with a boob and some Advil!!

Snow/Christmas

We got our first snow last week, and of course, we weren't prepared for it.  I had no snow boots, coat, or pants.  Zoe was incredibly disappointed when she woke up and couldn't fit into anything from last year.  So what is a mother to do, go to Target!!!!  Luckily, they had everything and I was able to come home and make the world a better place.

 We then got the pleasure of celebrating Christmas with the kids. Zoe slept in till 9 am that morning, so Grant and I got some time alone together.  It was really nice!!

Zoe had a GREAT time.  It did take her a little bit to warm up to the bike, which made Todd really sad, but she is now incredibly pleased with her gift!!!

Crawling

Here is little man crawling around.  He is trying desperately to do it the right way, but this works for now.
